Amnesty International has released a report titled "I Am Fallen into Darkness," about Obaidullah, an Afghan Guantánamo detainee now in his 12th year without trial. He has spent 4,000 days in limbo, 8,000 miles from home.
On a more hopeful note, it seems that President Obama is preparing to release two Algerian detainees. Their attorneys have not been notified who they are. H. Candace Gorman, who represents an Algerian detainee, is hoping that her client is one of those to be released.
