Barbara reported on upcoming activities for Torture Awareness Month (June). 

Healing a Culture of Torture

Public witness in front of the White House, June 26, noon-2pm 

Barbara is planning to do tabling at the People-for-People Picnic, Saturday, July 13, 4-7pm, at Hoopes Park, West Ashbridge St. & Hoopes Park Lane, West Chester, PA 19380. Members should let her know if they also plan on participating. If coming, please bring a food item to share. 

Gina reported reported that Karen Berry (Bethlehem group) has reported that letters sent by her group to Siti Zainab Binti Rupa have been returned. Rupa is Bethlehem group's case file as well as ours.

Reviewed death penalty actions sent by Brendan. Discussed possibility of a movie night. Suggestions included The Lady (about Aung Sun Suu Kyi) and Bordertown (Ciudad Juarez murders). Tilo said that Unitarian Congregation of West Chester facilities are available to us.
