Guantanamo Day of Action

Today marks ten years since the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay opened.

To commemorate this anniversary, activists from Amnesty International, Physicians for Humans Rights, the National Religious Coalition Against Torture, and other groups gathered in Washington, DC, to demonstrate in support of closing this prison. (For a thorough explanation of why this is a good idea, read this article.)
