Today we held our annual outreach/fundraising event as part of Amnesty International's yearly global Write for Rights campaign. We set up a table in the Ten Thousand Villages shop in Exton and invited passersby to write cards on behalf of and to the twelve prisoners of conscience and activists highlighted in this year's campaign. This year's event resulted in 78 cards!
As always, the staff at Ten Thousand Villages were both welcoming and helpful. We are so grateful for their support of this event!
We meet in person with a video connection for those prefer to join us remotely via Zoom. If you'd like join us, please contact us for the meeting site address and the Zoom link.
